Default Copy Header/Footer to Retain Formatting

How can I copy and then paste headers and footers from one sheet to another
and retain the formatting from the source sheet?

Right click on the tab at the bottom of the sheet. Choose Move or Copy, put
a checkmark in create a copy, if you want the copy to be the last sheet,
highlight (move to end) and click OK - you now have a copy, header, footer,
formulas, formatting of the sheet.

Thanks so much! You don't know how many people I've asked about this and how
many times I've searched "HELP". I knew there had to be a simple, logical
way to accomplish this. You have saved me SO MUCH time! Thanks again!

I actually asked this question about two weeks ago on this board. Someone
else bailed me out of the same situation (so much work to recreate!) I, just
like you, knew there had to be a simple way to fix it.... nice to return the
favour and help someone else out!
