Default making a buget

when I recieve a bill I want to enter the bill in my budget lets say in A1
then when I pay it I would like to put an X in B1 and would like the number
in A1 to copy to C1 showing it was paid

In C1, you probably want something like:

=if(b1="X",c1,"")

Type this formula in C1, =IF(B1="x",A1,"")
