back in Excel 2003 I used an Excel feature that allowed me to import data
directly from an iSeries (AS/400) data file into Excel. It was a little icon I had up in the toolbar. I can't find it any more and all import features are talking about DB stuff I have no clue about. Any ideas where I can find this feature again? Thanks. |

I no longer have Excel 2003 available to me. I use Excel 2007. It sounds to
me like you had an add-in installed to import the data file and it was activated by the toolbar button. You say "back in Excel 2003". I assume from that you're using Excel 2007. You would have reinstall the add-in or find a similar add-in for Excel 2007 Tyro "Cassavant" wrote in message ... back in Excel 2003 I used an Excel feature that allowed me to import data directly from an iSeries (AS/400) data file into Excel. I believe that it was part of IBM's "Client Access Data Transfer"
Google finds some advice at http://forums.systeminetwork.com/isn...ad.php?t=50194 See also http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docvie...697b00778f 80 and http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docvie...6af1007324 c9 -- David Biddulph "Jean C" wrote in message ...
