Default lost my formulas

Hi,

I saved my worksheet. When I went back and highlighted a cell.....it
didn't show me the formula I used in the fx header.....and I forgot
the formula.

please help

Hi mitch.

What did you save the workbook as? .xls or in another format
like .csv? If you saved as csv then all formatting, functions etc
will have been erased.

What did you save the workbook as? .xls or in another format
like .csv? If you saved as csv then all formatting, functions etc
will have been erased.

I saved as cvs....i am new to this....

no way to get formulas back?

If you saved as *.csv you will still have the original *.xls file on your
computer.

Unless you deleted it manually.

But not, of course, any edits done since the xls was previously saved.

Saving as csv does give a warning, and a link to a help page about what will
be lost if you save in that format, and needs a confirmation before the
save. I'm sure the OP will be more careful next time!
