I have a spread sheet with a column of phone numbers typed in different
formats. E.g. (416) 425 1234, 416-425-1234, 4164251234, 416 425 1234, etc. How do I a do format for the entire column that will convert all values typed to read (416) 425-1234 or the standard phone format? Prasad Gopinath |

I have had to do Social Security numbers once and saved this in case I had to
do it again! On the Format menu, click Cells. On the Number tab, click Special in the Category list. In the Type list, click Zip Code, Zip Code + 4, Phone Number, or Social Security Number. Hope it helps! |
