Default Why won't excel accept my password?

I have been using the same password for ever.Now today for some reason I am
being told the password is not correct. I need to access my worksheet Help !!

Check if Caps Lock is on? Type your password in another sheet , notepad or
Word document and see if it types correctly. If this does not help, shout
(post) again

Hi

normal reason for this is the caps lock is on

however, if you still can't get it and it's a worksheet protection or a
workbook protection password (from under the tools menu) check out
http://www.mcgimpsey.com/excel/removepwords.html
