I have a column that contains a mix of numbers with and without leading
numbers. It also contains text. I remember in Excel 2003 it would offer me the option to sort the text numbers as though they were actual numbers. This was really great as I have a sheet that I used to record payment information and I can then sort the payments in true numerical order and quickly go through them in sequence. I can't seem to get Excel 2007 to do the same thing, even when loading the same sheet. Here's an example: 234 0123 CASH 4501 This would sort to: 0123 234 4501 CASH Any ideas? -- TK |
