Hey all,
I have a table from columns E - AO. The table has a list of either x's or nothing. What I'm hoping for is this. Say ColumnJ Row 5 has a x in it. I would like the four columns on either side of ColJ to be marked, preferrably with a colour, hence the conditional formating remark. Also, if one of the left most columns, say colF has an x in it, then the four columns to the right would be highlighted, as would the 1 to the left PLUS the 3 columns at the end of the table (so column F has the x, then columns E,G,H,I,J,AO,AN,AM are highlighted). Hope this is possible - if not here's another possibility: In row 1, columns E to AO are the numbers 0-36. If I enter a number (between 0-36, not in order) in cell A2, then an x would need to mark in the four cells on each side of the respective column plus mark the matching column itself. Example: A2 = 24 Column F is titled 24. What I need is for F2 to be marked with an x (perferably a big X) and cells E2,G2,H2,I2,J2 and AO2,AN2,AM2 to be marked with an x (or some kind of marking). Thanks alot! This one is a toughy for me! Matt |
