Insert Row and keep merged cells formatting
I have a spreadsheet with several merged cells in a row. When I insert a new
row, it copies all the formatting of the row above or below into the new row except that of the merged cells, e.g. the merged cell is once again broken down into 2 cells. Is there a way that the merged cells can automatically be copied over to the new row when I insert a row without having to use format painter, etc.? |

Insert Row and keep merged cells formatting
CK
The only way I seem to be able to keep the cells merged in the new row, other than using the formatting paintbrush, is to copy the row that has the merged cell, then right click on the row number bar (on the left of the worksheet) and select insert copied row. Hope this helps. "CK" wrote: I have a spreadsheet with several merged cells in a row.
