Default calculatnig total time in excel

I want to keep track of an employees earned hours, but the calculation will
also need to keep track of negative hours

i.e. 5:12 on monday and -2:12 on Tuesday giving an end calculation of 3:00

any suggestions?

Default calculatnig total time in excel

Change the workbook to the 1904 date system via Tools Options
Calculation and check the 1904 date system.

Be warned that all existing dates will change by 1,461 days.
