Default EXCEL 97 WORK IN 2007?

Have used Office 97 programs to perform my small business records. All of my
500 or so customers information is in Access 97 along with my sales info..
Have alot of files in Excel also.
I want to upgrade to Office Ultimate 2007 but.......will all of my "old"
stuff upconvert to Office 2007? Or, will Office 2007 be able to read my
files created in Office 97 and convert them to savable records?

Please help, Peterfst in SLC

It's not possible to say they all will, but it is certainly designed to. I
would back-up the files and then gradually upgraded them by saving as the
new format and then opening and closing the files. You may have some linking
issues, but it should be minor
