I want to lock row 1 in Excel. Why is "Freeze Panes" grayed out?
 
I've done this before, and am baffled. I now have Vista/MS Office 2007. The
worksheet is save in 2003 compatibility mode.

Is the worksheet protected??? Unprotect it is it is.
