How can I edit a subset of filtered data in excel 2007 without harming the
hidden data? Currently I access the filtered subset and I change the data in a column by entering the desired text into the first field of the column and then using the copy down command to change all other fields. When I do this the hidden data is also changed as a result of the copy down command. In Excel 2003 I was able to filter and change a subset of data using the copy command without ever effecting the hidden data. -- PBSEV |
