Default comment

when I add a commend for one cell and move its another place,if I hide its,
it shown in defualt palce, that I won't shown their default's palce. This is
my problem pleas help me.

Try using Cut Paste to "move" the comment........it should behave as you
need.

Chuck

The "Cut" option is not available for me in Excel 2003 when a Comment is
selected by EditComment.

I can cut and paste the entire cell with the Comment but not the Comment itself.

How would you go about cutting and pasting a Comment?

Sorry Gord, I didn't mean to imply to be just cutting the comment, but rather
as you say, the whole cell........I figured the OP was using COPY to "move"
the comment which would result in the comment being left in the original cell
also........which was the complaint........I figured the CUT would circumvent
that.

I took it to mean OP was just fragging the Comment to another area and did not
want to see it next to the cell.

Yeah, in light of that point of view.......rereading the post shows it could
be taken that way.......probably so, but my initial read made me think the
OP was moving the comment to another cell..........
