Default Copy worksheet into several worksheets in the same or another work

Need help with copying a worksheet into several worksheets in the same or
another workbook
I have found the Merge Works formula, but, as I understand it, that is
different from what I am trying to accomplish. That appears to be for what
they call shared workbooks. Well, this would not be that. These workbooks
would be independent workbooks.

Hi Lawrence,

Are you trying to copy the whole worksheet or a portion of it. For the
whole worksheet just hold down the Ctrl key and drag the sheet tab. For a
range just copy and paste.

I'm sure there is something a little bit more complicated than the question
you are asking?

Default Copy worksheet into several worksheets in the same or another

Hello Shane Devenshire,

You are right; there is more to it.

I have created a Daily Sales and Expenses Report form that is, for my low
level of expertise, complex. What I would like to accomplish is: 1) Copy the
one worksheet template I have created into 11 more worksheets, so that there
will be one for each month of the year. 2) Name the 12 worksheet tabs for the
months of the year. 3) Copy the whole shebang, including the named month
tabs, into several other workbooks. 4) Cause the calendar days and dates for
each month to update themselves when I do this whole thing over again for
2009, and on and on.

Of course, I could accomplish this task the slower cut and paste way, except
for the calendar updating, but, since I have to do these reports for several
business locations, I would prefer automating this task to the extent
possible.

There you have. I look forward to your help.

All the best,
Lawrence S. Miller
