Default how do i change the data source

hi
i have pivottables that are referencing data from a worksheet in the same
workbook.

as i am adding data constantly to the worksheet how do i change the data
range in the pivottable so it is reflected when i refresh

Default how do i change the data source

Hi,

You need not change the range in the pivot table, cause pivot table
automatically changes the range as per the data.
Only Make sure the data entered is with in the selected table array for the
pivot table.
Once finished doing data entry you can go to
Pivot table toolbar/refresh.

The pivot table will automatically reflected the new data entered.

Default how do i change the data source

If you have added data to the bottom of the range used for the pivot table,
then note the address of last cell of the range, often the column will be
the same, just the row number will be increased.
Then click on the pivot table anywhere, click on Data, Pivot table & pivot
chart report.
In the box which appears click on back
Amend the range (often just the row number will have to be edited)
Then click on finish.
