Default IF VLOOKUP

I've got a formula (below) that isn't working, I'm sure its something I did
wrong, but I'm not sure what. If C8=yes the formula should do a vlookup if
C8=no, it should do nothing. Can someone help me fix my formula?

=IF(ISERROR(c8="yes",(VLOOKUP(A8&"-"&F8&"-"&G8,'Writing
Charges'!$D$3:$E$60,2,0)*I8),"",(VLOOKUP(A8&"-"&F8&"-"&G8,'Writing
Charges'!$D$3:$E$60,2,0)*I8)))

Default IF VLOOKUP

Why not use:

=IF(c8<"yes","",(VLOOKUP(A8&"-"&F8&"-"&G8,'Writing
Charges'!$D$3:$E$60,2,0)*I8))

Default IF VLOOKUP

Thanks, that worked. Unfortunately I had to change some criteria, which now
requires a change in the formula. still the same look up, but if c8=Internal
then vlookup D3..E60, if c8=external then vlookup G3..H60, if c8=none then do
nothing. How would I change the formula below to make it work?
