Default Graphing time (In weeks)

Hi,
I have a graph of time (Weeks) along the X-Axis and settlement (mm) along
the Y- Axis. A unit along the X -Axis would be say 21/10-28/10/06, this is
the 21st of Octoeber to the 28 of Octoeber 2006, which represents a week. The
next point is the 28/10/-28/11/06, this is the 28 of Octoeber to the 28 of
November 2006, which represents 4 weeks i.e. 4 units, but it is shown as one
week on the graph (one unit). Is it possible for the chart wizard to modify
the scale locally to suit the number of weeks/units correctly.
Thank you in advance.
Regards,

Hi,

The graph is treating the date period as a simple category.
In order for the chart to treat dates as true dates you will need to
modify/expand the source data. Create an entry for each week.

Cheers

Or convert the categories to dates (like the week-ending dates), use a date
scale axis, set the base unit of the axis to days, and the major unit to 7
days. Or set the major unit to 1 month and the minor unit to 7 days, then
display the minor tick marks (patterns tab).
