Default Pivot Tables with Manually Entered Formulas

I am extracting data from a dbase into four columns of information using a
pivot table. In the columns to the right of the pivot table data, I am
entering formulas in rows using the pivot table data from those same rows.

If my dbase information changes in certain ways, it causes the number of
rows in the pivot table dataset to increase or decrease. When this happens,
the manually entered formulas in the columns to the right of the pivot table
do not shift up or down as the pivot table increases or decreases rows.

Does anyone know of a way to link the manually entered data to the pivot
table data to prevent this??
