Default Another Mail Merge Question

I created a spread sheet of names and addresses in Excel 2003 in Arial 10. I
have since changed it to Arial 12. I have set all the defaults that I know
of in Excel and Word 2003 to Arial 12. When I do a mail merge to Word 2003
every thing shows as 12 point until the merge is made the data becomes 10
point. Some things I have read hint that the Excel file has to have been
created in 12 point to keep this from happening. Is this true or is there a
way to make the data default to 12 point?

Default Another Mail Merge Question

Hi,

Your question is related to a Word issue ...

Display the field codes and add the character formatting switch to the
field.
Example: { Mergefield Name \* CharFormat }
