Default no auto sum formulas remain when I save to different file name

When I finish changes in this perticular master file and save to another file
name, it loses most of the formulas that where in the master (ex. autosum,
and validations) that I have created..pls help..thanks

when you do the save as, verify that the file type (under the new name) is
correct.
