Need Help. I have a salary amount. And I have a pay schedule that is a
matrix. I have the lane/column and the step. I want to hold the step and move the lane until the salary is equal or greater that salary given. I can do an index and test and add 1 if less and just keep doing that...but, there should be a formula that might use the index and the goal seek function. any help appreciated. -- James D. Sheehan |

Use Fill Series.
No formula required. Enter [step value] or zero into a cell. Edit Fill Series Columns Linear Step Value [step value] Stop Value [salary value] |
