Excel not seeing the space
I am copying and pasting some data from PayPal. When I go to delete the USD
portion of the cost, it leaves a space at the end of the number and then I can't autosum the various costs together. How can I get rid of the extra space. When I try to find/replace, it excel doesn't see the space at the end. I am using Excel 2007. Thanks, -- Maddog236 |

Excel not seeing the space
The blank spaces are probably HTML non-breaking spaces.
To remove them: <Edit<Replace Find What: [ALT]+0160 <-Hold down [Alt].type 0160.release [ALT] Replace with: (leave this blank) Click [Replace All] Does that help? -------------------------- Regards, Ron Microsoft MVP (Excel) (XL2003, Win XP) "Maddog236" wrote in message ...
