how do I copy to every other line at once in a column( not by holding down
ctrl and clicking on every other cell) |

how do i stop it from increasing the number?

Two possible solutions...
1. Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging to keep from incrementing. 2. Hold down the right mouse button (instead of the left) while dragging. Select the data cell and a blank cell below.
