I've been having some issues with that myself. Here's what I found
out so far. 1. Theme colors apply only to those cells that are formatted with theme colors. Those are not the "standard" colors. For example, if you select a new theme, you'll see the color pallette change: http://www.44lbs.net/ilia/theme_urban.jpg http://www.44lbs.net/ilia/theme_metro.jpg 2. For fonts, you also have to use theme fonts for change to take place. Here's an example: http://www.44lbs.net/ilia/theme_office.jpg http://www.44lbs.net/ilia/theme_custom1.jpg Hope this helps. Is there something else I need to enable or add on? Linda "Bill" wrote: I'm having the same issue. They have never worked in Excel 2007 and have recently downloaded the update and still no luck with Themes. Thanks for any help/suggestions. "Rich K" wrote: I can't get themes to work in Excel 2007. If I point, click or stand on my head, the theme doesn't apply to my worksheet. It flickers, but no theme, just the same old default monochrome. Help? |
