Default Template Startup Folder On A Network Drive

Do you want to use the folder as a startup folder or do you want to use it as a
template folder?

Those are different things.

If you have .xlt (template files) that you want to store in a common network
folder, then you can use MSWord to specify that folder.

Open MSWord
Tools|Options|File Locations Tab
Change the "Workgroup templates" location to your network path

Excel will use that setting.

I don't have a guess why the "at startup, open all files in" isn't being
remembered. Any chance that you start excel when you're not connected to the
network so that it can't find that folder?

Hi, I'm trying to setup ExcelXP to use a network drive for template startup
folder. I've tried to set the "At StartUp Folder" to the network path and
also tried to map the network drive but Excel still uses the default local
drive for the startup folder.
