Excel 2007
Why can you not put a patch out that remedies the problem of SLOW, SLOW Excel starting and then opening every wookbook I have before the one I am looking for. Disgusting! Some take a very frustrating 2 to 3 minutes. Bob M. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. Hi Robert
It sounds as though you have a wrong setting. Click the round Office ButtonExcel OptionsAdvancedscroll down to the General Sectionremove or change the entry in the "At startup, open all files in location" box. -- Regards Roger Govier "robert morris" wrote in message ... Excel 2007
Hi Robert
The try looking at your XLSTART folder, and see what files you have in there. XL automatically opens all files in this folder. On my VISTA machine, the path is C:\Users\Roger\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Excel\XLS TART One way to find the path is to right click on a sheet tabView CodeGtrl+G to bring up the Immediate window and type in that window ?application.StartupPath and press Enter -- Regards Roger Govier "robert morris" wrote in message ...
