That's not the question. 2121.1 refers to billions, population is single
digits. Excel will not accept 2121.1 as a number, it hates punctuation. "Biff" wrote: Hi! Divide both sides of the input by 1000000000, as
=2121100000000/1000000000 for debt in A1, will display as 2121.1, =295622256/1000000000 for population in B1 will display as .295622256 In C1 put =A1/B1 and still get 7175.035 Vaya con Dios, Chuck, CABGx3 "cabe88" wrote in message ...
