have a workbook that reads from other workbooks accross a network in 2003,

unfortunatly when we hit save or run a macro to auto save the workbook it
does not update the remote refrences although the refrences do update if we
close and reopen the workbook

is their a way to over come this so the reader book can auto save and update
say every 5 min
