Default How do I display numbers of 12 digits or more?

Excel keeps taking any digit over 11 and displays them as zero's, Is there
anyway to prevent this? I have tried custom formats to no avail.

Go to Custom formats and type # for as many numbers as you want
displayed.

tried that before posting. It still takes any number over 12 and changes it
to zero.

Here you write, "over 11"; in another post you write "over 12"

Is it, perhaps, over 15? If so, then you will need to enter the number as TEXT
by either formatting the cell as TEXT BEFORE entering the value, or by
preceding the entry with a single quote.

jaxboo,
I am not sure what you are saying. is it a decimal or just a 12 digit
number? If it is a 12 digit number do as I said. If it is a 12
digits after a decimal, start off the custom formatting with a
decimal. Is teh column wide enought to support this many digits?
