Default footnote protection

I've created forms in Excel for a quality system so I could lock the
document's field headers, graphics, etc., while unlocking other cells for
users to enter text within. With sheet or workbook protection, the user can
still access page set up and delete or edit footnotes, page % size, etc., Is
there a way to protect page set up?

Anyone have a better suggestion for user friendly quality forms that will
pass ISO document control standards?

thanks.

I don't know of anyway of protecting these file|page setup settings.

But you could reapply whatever you want in the workbook_beforeprint event
(assuming that macros aren't disabled by the user).

Have you thought about using Word documents and form fields? You can lock
down the document, with or without a password, and set the document for form
field entry only. --
