Default Is Conditional Formatting Using WordArt Possible?

Is it possible to control WordArt using conditional formatting? That is,
instead of formatting a cell or group of cells based on a condition, can I
cause a predefined WordArt box to appear based on specific criteria? Thanks
in advance for any help.
