Default holding worksheet formats when copying/pasting

When I copy a worksheet into a new worksheet, the columns, rows, fonts etc do
not remain the same as the original format which causes us to have to
manually resize the new worksheet to match the existing one. Does anyone have
a solution? thanks

This might not retain every thing you want moved over but you can 'copy' the
1st sheet and then 'paste special' ... 'column widths' to get the width info,
then copy your data over.

Try copying and "Paste Special" (by right clicking on a cell in the new
worksheet and selecting 'paste special').
In the Paste Special window select "Format" and "OK" to apply it.
All your formats should be preserved.
