Default cell color shading

When I change a cell, or a series of cells to a different shade color, and
then move on to a different cell (that has no fill color), how do I prevent
the color that I just chose for the previous cells from showing up in the
current cell I'm editing?

Hi
goto 'Tools - Options - Edit' and uncheck the option to fill
formulas/formats automatically
