Default filtering in pivot tables

I would need to show information in a column showing the values x and y only.
If only x or y has a value, nothing should be shown. This can be done
manually in the pivottable, but as the spreadsheet is quite large the amount
of work is tremendous.
So I would appreciate any tips.
