I have an HP IPAQ1945 running PocketPC 2003 Pro and a new sony Vaio running
vista business with the new Office 2007. I use mobile sync via usb and it works fine *except* it won't convert Excel (.pxl) or Word (.pwi) files on the PDA to files that can be read by Excel or Word on the laptop. Actually, if I create the file on the laptop and sync it to the PDA, it works, but not the other way. Any ideas? Thanks -- Rich |

Hi Richard.
I have the same problem. Possibly there is an answer in a thread called "Mobile 2003 sychronisation". One of the replies suggests that *.pxl and *.psw files cannot be opened by Office 2007. To get your pda files in a readable form in Office 2007 save them in the 97/200 format on your pda before syncing. JA "Richard E.
