Default making cells adjust

how do you make cells recalculate when their input cells are changed. eg you
have a cell that is dependent on the value of another. I want this cell to
recalculate automatically when i change the value of the input cell. I also
want to copy this cell along a row and have all the new cells reaclculate too.
Thanks for any help.

Cells with formulas should update automatically as long
as XL is set to calculate automatically. Go to Tools
Options Calculation tab and check.
