Red,
No, but you can put your header directly at the top of the worksheet. -- Earl Kiosterud mvpearl omitthisword at verizon period net ------------------------------------------- "RedChequer" wrote in message ... Hi Red,
..... and the rows that you originally had repeated like $1:$1 might be included again later say at row 52 so rows to repeat at top would be $52:$52 and you would insert a manual page break before row 52 --- HTH, David McRitchie, Microsoft MVP - Excel My Excel Pages: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/excel.htm "Earl Kiosterud" wrote in message ... Yes. It can be done, but requires VBA code.
See Ron de Bruin's site for this. http://www.rondebruin.nl/print.htm#Header Gord Dibben Excel MVP On Sun, 6 Mar 2005 18:45:02 -0800, "RedChequer" wrote: In an Excel 2002, Landscape work sheet, containing 9 pages can I have the header printed only on the first page ie. Does this mean you have abandoned the project or you want some assistance? Have a look at David McRitchie's site got getting started withe VBA and macros. http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/getstarted.htm Ron's code is flexible in its parameters and he has provided various options on the site. Just edit the code to your taste. Gord Dibben Excel MVP On Wed, 9 Mar 2005 15:03:07 -0800, "RedChequer" wrote: Thanks Gord and to all that replied. I had a look at Ron de Bruin's site. I'm in my late seventies and have left
it a bit late to start using VBA and macros, but I'll give it a gp. Thanks for your help Gord. "Gord Dibben" wrote: Red Does this mean you have abandoned the project or you want some assistance?
