Default Shared Workbook

Not sure whether I'm in the right place for this but I hope someone can
either help me out or point me to someone who can.

I shared a workbook and all was well until one PC crashed. Since then there
have been #VALUE entries in some cells.

I removed all users but me, unshared the workbook and repaired the values
but cannot save the repaired version unless I use a new filename.

I now cannot delete the original (corrupt) version because:
"It is being used by another person or program"

How do I delete the original and then rename my new version to replace the
corrupted one?

Thanks
