Is there anyway of having more than 3 conditional formats in excel?

How do I find 'J E McGimpsey'? This is my first time asking for information
on this discussion group.

J E McGimpsey has a page "Getting 6 conditional *font colours* without
macros" which includes links to other C/F sources.
