Default prevent duplicate entry for range of numbers 00001 to 99999 in ex.

is there a way to prevent a duplicate entry for a range of numbers between
00001 and 99999 in column?

Although it has its limitations, Validation is one way:

1. Select the range.
2. Go to Data Validation.
3. Under "Allow" select "Whole Number".
4. Fill in the "Min" with 0 and "Max" with 99999.

Or use this technique since I doubt it will prevent duplicates
