Default Displaying Messages

I would like to display an informational message, such as "Processing
Inventory Figures", on the screen while VB is running a process, without
stopping the process that is running. So that the message is displayed when
the process begins running, and is removed when the process finishes.

Is there some way to display a message like this (using a UserForm or
otherwise) in a VBA module?
