Default Pivot table help

I have a list of people and the dates they've been trained. I have created a
pivot table which shows the number of people trained on each day. However, I
want to change it so it is grouped by month. Is there a quick way to do
this? Thanks in advance.

Default Pivot table help

Hi Colin

Right click on the Date field and choose Group and Show DetailGroup
byselect Months

Note. It will only group dates if they are in a valid Excel format ( Not
text representations of dates), and providing there are no null entries
within the range.
