Default fromula bar

the formula bar in my excel program has a horizontal orientation but entered
data is presented vertically, making it difficult to read. i have been
unable to find a way to change that. thanks for the help.

Have a look at FormatCellsAlignmentOrientation.

Might be set at 90º
