Default need help with a conditional format in regards to "date" input

I have a scenario where a date is inputed in cell B2. I want cell B3 to go
red if a date is not entered.

Once a date is entered, I need the cell to go back to clear.

Help!!! I'm out of time and am not that familiar with Excel!

Thanks!

John

Select cell B3
Goto the menu FormatConditional Formatting
Select Formula Is
Enter this formula in the little box on the right:

=NOT(ISNUMBER(B2))

Click the Format button
Select the desired style(s)
OK out
