I quite often set up workbooks in 07 for use in older versions of excel. But
when the older version is opened it opens as 4 separate workbooks. Each are the same. You can save changes in that version and when it is opened again it is still 4 books. Is there away to convert 07 to stop this happening? -- Simon |

Four workbooks? Or four windows for the same workbook? Does it say
Book1.xls:1, :2, etc., in the window title bar? You can close the individual windows, leaving one open. Does it happen all the time? Do you notice the multiple windows in 2007? - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Tutorials and Custom Solutions Peltier Technical Services, Inc. - http://PeltierTech.com _______ "SNS" wrote in message ... The safest thing to do then is to use 2003 to set up the workbooks.
