I trying to open an exciting spreadsheet to work on it. This message kept
pop up, "is locked for editing by my name". Also give me three options; Read Only, Notify, and Cancel. The reason being, the spreadsheet was set up by my boss for more than two personnel to work on it. So right now, if the other one is on it, the other person cannot edit anything. And I don't remember locked this spreadsheet under my name. The question is how can I unlock the spreadsheet? |

If you're positive that your name isn't the username for the other two people,
I'd try this: http://contextures.com/xlfaqApp.html#ReadOnly (from Debra Dalgleish's site) If the file is stored on a network drive, sometimes rebooting that server helps release the file. jah_1982 wrote: I trying to open an exciting spreadsheet to work on it.
