Default ### #REF error

I have a Master Workbook that have linkes to various workbooks. Some time
when I update any of workbook it displayed #REF error in my Master Workbook.
I have to double click on every cell which then shows actual value. please
help me on this error. and tell me some short way to rectify this. thanks

Maybe check that calc mode is set to auto?
(via Tools Options Calculation tab)

Default ### #REF error

Select the range with the problem formulas (or all the cells)

Edit|Replace
what: = (equal sign)
with: =
replace all

Excel should see that mass change just like you hit F2|enter on each cell.
