The box is so tall I can't use any of the functions, including "print".

Try adjusting the screen resolution.
Right click your desktop, click properties
Go to the Settings tab
and adjust the Screen resolution by draging the slider
If you can't adjust the screen resolution then the driver for the graphics
card in your computer is not correctly installed. You'll have to refer to
the documentation which came with your PC to install the driver.
