Is there a way to change the setting so that the 'last accessed date' doesn't
change in the properties setting? Here's my dilemma: When I 'compress' a Word Document and then view the document without 'uncompressing' it, the meta data doesn't change. The last modified date, last changed and last accessed date are still intact. But when I 'compress' an Excel file and I view the file from within the compressed file - not the actual document - the 'last accessed date' changes. I work with a legal group and because of ediscovery rules, we need a way to view documents and perform keyword searches without the 'last accessed' date being changed...again, Word doesn't do this, only Excel. Thanks! |
